• Technical logs. Our hosting infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) processes standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — to serve the site securely and prevent abuse.

What we don't do

• We don't set cookies — no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind.
• We don't use third-party analytics, ad networks, or social media trackers.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information for marketing.
• Fonts and all other assets are served from our own infrastructure — visiting this site sends no data to font or CDN third parties beyond our hosting provider.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies, so there's no cookie banner to click. If we ever introduce features that require cookies or similar technologies beyond what's strictly necessary (for example, analytics or embedded payment elements), we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Payments

If you purchase a seat at a dinner, payment is processed by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout pages. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's handling of your information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy. We receive from Stripe the information needed to honor your purchase: your name, email, and what you bought.

How long we keep information

Inquiry emails are kept as long as needed to correspond with you and run our events, then deleted in the ordinary course. Purchase records are kept as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep by law). Email vj@chefvj.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
